A Wealth of History

The Society supports publication of books about Stow history. There are several published histories of Stow, four published by the Society. These include the following, as well as the most recent publication, Celebrating Stow’s Women, 1920 and the 19th Amendment, by Marilyn Taylor Zavorski, 2021. Copies of these books are available for purchase at the Council on Aging office at the Pompsitticut Community Center, at public events held by the Society, or by contacting the Society at the email or postal address shown below.

Additionally, although the 1933 publication of the book Stow, Massachusetts 1683 – 1933, by the Rev. and Mrs. Preston R. Crowell, is long out of print, a PDF copy of the book is available here.
